Ovalia armchair (Eyeball chair), design Henrik Thor-Larsen, 1968

650,00

This model, inspired by the Ovalia armchair, was manufactured between 1968 and 2005. This one is late 90's early 2000's with a black interior, typical of the latest creations.

It has a few wear marks caused by use and time, but remains in very good condition. It will take its place anywhere in your home.

Henrik Thor-Larsen's egg-and-eyeball-shaped Ovalia chair is often confused with Eero Aarnio's bubble-shaped Ball Chair. Designed in the late '60s, these chairs inaugurated the concept of furniture designed to create "space within space". They provided a place of seclusion and acted as small rooms in which to enjoy a moment of peace and contemplation. While these two chairs have featured in numerous films about the conquest of space, only Ovalia was represented in the film Men in Black.
