Superb contemporary wall light by Dutch artist Evert Jelle Jelles from the 60′.
Jelles was a pioneer of sustainable, environmentally-friendly design. He was one of the first designers to integrate recyclable materials into his projects and to reduce the environmental impact of the products he designed.
Over the course of his career, Jelles has won numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious Dutch Design Award in 1993. His creations have also been exhibited in museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
Jelles died in 2002 at the age of 63, leaving behind him a lasting legacy in the world of industrial design.
